1. There is a big improvement in seeing the keypad characters with the Black keypad over the Silver Keypad. In certain lighting you have to tilt the Silver keypad to see what you were typing. On the Black there is no problems at all.
2. There are no seals broken. The only thing that was a bit hard to remove was the camera lens glass as it has a sticky backing to it. I just took my time to peel it from the phone.
Good to hear on both counts. I'm pulling the trigger. It's just too damn hard for me to see the way it is. Though even in silver it still beats the V9 doesn't it?![]()
I like the full black housing the best (European Q9h). I think that ATT dropped the ball on both housings that they offered. The keys on the Vodafone Q9h are matted, and have no glare at all. Also the black bezel, does not have the paint peeling issue that the ATT version has. The original ATT Q9h has keys with a glossy finish. In the sun they produce a lot of glare. The Silver Q9h housing is very nice looking, but its functionality is the issue. It's keyboard is a total mess. The keys are great, as long as the backlight is not on. Nice job ATT.
really cute... nice idea![]()
Hi, how did you change the glass? just ripped it off or what? I just bought a replacement glass and button and am nervous about just pealing the old one off.
