Hi,
Motorola seems to have updated the standalone installer to provide the 28DR update. After previsouly only getting up to 28CR, I installed the new one this Saturday on my blk Q9 global after downloading and now my radio, modem and AP all have the latest version as everyone else.
Looks good so far, 3G coverage improved. Cannot say much about speeds, still testing.
I'm downloading it right now too!

Tried this and mysteriously after the upgrade I only seem to pick up on the EDGE signal
and YES my q9h IS AT&T branded in fact its the Silver (Q9Hs) version
I don't know what went wrong but needles to say I don't like surfin at Edge speeds
its a good thing i have a spare Q9h to download the old 6.1 over 3G otherwise id be stuck downloading slower than dial up to try and reload my precious 3G
