I don't doubt that there may be schematics out there that show wifi on it. What I am doubting is that it is the final version that made it into the AT&T's Q9h. Once you have the schematics, compare it to the internal photo's on the FCC website. There is one spot on the phone's board where a chip was planned for, but is not installed on the board.

Very good point. You can't trust everything you see in schematics. Like I mentioned before, there's good reason to include features like wifi in a design but not populate the chip, etc. I'll have to either compare against the fcc pics, or, glub forbid, take apart my own 9h.
