hi there, i jus bought a cheap moto q9h off ebay and well due to the influence of my dad tts why i bought it as well..

have been trying to figure out to make this phone way cooler and to console myself for not getting a nokie E71, apparently i tried to upgrade the wm software to 6.1 and yet they have indicated its the latest..

would motorola centre be able to do the update manually?.. and what does the 6.1 contains? i was actually wowed by the new homescreen.. but i guess its was like a moth to light.. wonder if this window mobile thingy is good at all

if motorola software update says you have the latest, it just means that your phone is out of warranty. you can use RSD lite to flash it to 6.1 if you find the monster flash file for 6.1 (for the Q9h there's an att version and I think the generic is for europe)
most of the noticible differences in 6.1 are threaded text messaging and the sliding panel homescreen. but there is some behind the scenes stuff that you won't notice so much.
personally I love WinMo and won't use a phone without it (it does everything that i need a phone to do)

Wow paraCAD, I live in Miami and from I know from experience, we get 3G in all tri-county (Miami-Dade, Broward & Palm Bch), what are u in the middle of the everglades!

I have RSD_lite_v3.7 (8.4MB size) and I have HANDSET_USB_driver32_v3.7.0 (1.9MB size) Both of these are the flash files I was referring to.

Now the ROM files yes are huge:
