Default Ringtones

I just got the Moto Q9c yesterday and it is my first smartphone. I was wondering if you can use your own music for the ring tones or do you have to download ones through the sprint store? Also, anyone know of a good site to download free content? I found mobile9, but none of the stuff they have works on my phone.

How do you do that. When I go to change the ring type, it doesn't have an option for custom or personal, it just scrolls through what came on the phone.

did you put sounds on your phone?
either in the ringtone folder or if you have a storage card put them in the root directory (not in any folders)

I have a Q9c and have used ringtones from Mobile9 successfully.
Take some time to read through some threads here and you'll figure it out. Plenty on threads already addressing free ringtones sites and such.
