I'll Pay U $$ - Pls Help me get Youtube

I've spent hours searching the forum and it's just too much info, dead ends and dead links.

Can sum1 pls give me step by step directions to be able 2 watch youtube on my q9c.

I've tried so many things and updates and I give up. I've deleted the TCPMP and just want 2 start fresh. Pls don't direct me to the page that says "updated Youtube Files" b/c I've tried it. I tried d'ling that FlashBundle and I can't - it says sumthing about running the app first? Have no clue what app, b/c I tried to run TCPMP first and nothing happened. Pls help me. I'll send cash to you through Paypal if ur directions work.

    Install instructions....

use this link to download the software. You will need TCPMP and the flashvideo thing.

    http://mq.roeiboot.com/apps/

    Both files are .cab

If you download then from a pc, do not extract or unzip them. Only transfer them to the Q. After you transfer them. Use the file manager on the Q and select(click) on the file. It will start to install. If you have a memory card install it there to save space on Q.

If you download them from the Q, they will self install. If you have a memory card install them there to save space on the Q.

During install, you will get an error message saying this application was made for a different version of windows. Ignore it, select yes

After install is complete reboot the Q

Run TCPMP, select options ) settings ) file associations) scroll down and make sure "flash video & mms protocol" are selected.

If for some reason the file downloads as a .tzg rename it to a .cab

also make sure you go to the full or classic version of youtube.

Easier!!!on The Phone!!! No Pc Needed!

    THIS IS THE EASIEST METHOD!

I don't know about the other Q's. I have the original, with Verizon service. I am a COMPLETE IDIOT when it comes to this phone. However, I was able to get YouTube by doing this ON THE PHONE ITSELF, NO PC NEEDED!

Pull up your internet. In the address bar, enter everything in this step by step method. It is Rudeboys steps. He helped me do this months ago.

    Rudeboys exact steps...

    (1) In PIE, pull up address bar. Type in:

    http://mq.roeiboot.com/apps/tcpmp.smartphone.0.72rc1.cab

(Phone will ask: Install tcpmp smartphone cab? CLICK YES)

    (2) When that is installed, pull up PIE address bar, and type in:

    http://mq.roeiboot.com/apps/FlashVideoBundle.CAB

(Again, when phone asks, click yes!)

Make sure you install both in the same location (if you install TCPMP on the storage card, you also need to install the FlashVideoBundle there, they need to be either both on the device, or both on the strorage card)

    (3) Power down Q, power up Q.

    (4) Done.

Make sure when you try to view Youtube videos, you are not in the mobile site. Scroll to bottom of page and click on full view (or something like that...)

    Good Luck!

you can increase the buffer size in TCPMP

    options ) settings ) buffering

    mine is set to
    buffer size 4096kb
    preload audio 512kb
preload 20-50% depending on file size an signal(if streaming)

with good signal I can stream 5-10 vids with no lag. This also depends on the streaming server.
