Ozone vs Nap
Hello,
The reboots, BlueTooth drops and other unreliabilities sent me searching for the Nappy beater. I found the Ozone. After a few hours I have mixed feelings. Below are my initial observations comparing to the Napoleon
Likes- GPS works with Bing (Live Search) Google Maps.
- Small and light body
- Mouse on Browser
- Flash on IE
Dislikes- No Motorola Home screen
- No programable keys
- No Flashlight
- No LED telling me I have a new message
- Smaller Keyboard harder to type
Does anyone know if I can get the default skin on the Nap on the OzoneEdit after reading the Sprint Review. The Sprint phone has different short cut keys at the botom left.

I've had one for 2 days and here are my impressions
Pros:
lighter than the Nap and fits better in my hand
gps locks on really quick and Garmin mobile XT works great
all the apps that works on the Nap work well
Cons:
the keyboard is more cramped and the number keys are moved over to the left.
* and # keys are at the bottom row and not as easy push * to unlock (I have to move my thumb more)
Camera quality is not as good and no flashlight
Overall, I like it and I may keep the Ozone over the Nap

open GPS ? wow that's cool ... I'm not doubting you but.... you do not have vz navigator installed or subscribed to ... correct ? for any body wanting a smart phone the Ozone looks like one heck of a deal ... 49 bucks w/2 yr.

No vz nav and gps works great with garmin, google map and bing. it's the best smartphone that I've had so far.

It came preloaded with VZ Navigator. I do have a subsribtion but it also comes with a GPS tool that asists the device to lock on using internet and cell tower cordinates. I downloaded Google Maps and Bing Search and both identify your location within 10 seconds. I think it would work without the VZN subsription.

from what I have read ... if I had vz navigator with paid subscription I could also use google maps, live search etc... with my Q9c ... So I'm "guessing" that the Ozone also works the same way.

I think you are mistaken. Having VZNavigator was prerequisite to GPS after installing hacks that created a call interupt problem on the Q9N. I dont beleive with Verizon's Q9c GPS was open.
