well... i deleted & re-created the account about a dozen times with no success... in between created a pop3 account and that did work, but then i saw it was fetch +1200 e-mails, so i stopped that pretty pronto.
well... needless to say, /rb is upset.

i did get mine to work..for a bit. went thru Sprints smtp servers, but yahhell fixed that. Im goint to try adjusting the filters on yahoo so only relevant email goes to inbox, then either forward them to the Q or u use Y Go.
Y! Go could not do what i needed/wanted... and my issue is not with the smtp since i use the bizmail commercial Yahoo smtp (which my boss pays for).. it's the pop3... just for shits n' giggles i went to imap.mail.yahoo.com and i could connect w/ PIE, so now i am even more baffled :]

This is still occurring to me as well, what is funny is that while traveling pre-thanksgiving, I had the email pop up on the q two different times. Now I am back to the same: prompting me for password over and over. I have been in contact with yahoo but have not been able to get an answer.Originally Posted by rudeboy

Dunno if I'm too late to the game, if I am too bad Im going to post anyways. I have a pop3 account too that I have set to my phone. My question is why wont it work on both the phone and the laptop? I don't have the pop3 on my computer right now but I did before and had no problems having the pop3 on my lappy and phone. Maybe my q is better than yours
Oh to conserve battery for now I have it check my account every 4 hours on my phone. Also there is a setting somewhere on your account where you can set the amount of emails your phone checks or the number of days it pulls from.
