    re-directing sites

Now I know I am going to legit websites. When I try to go to a page (for example, www.oasisinet.com) I am re-directed to another site. Why does this happen?

It exchanges the html address that I write for either, http://216.255.178.179/porntube/ or 69.50.190.131.162.156 then it will go to friendfound.net. What is going on here? I thought firefox was free of these things. Please help.

Pretty technical, but the probable scenario. Happened to one of my sites about 2 years ago: A hacker got into his .htaccess file and rewrote it. He may also have some hidden files in his images directory since the permissions are usually set to 777 read/write.
