I had no problem connecting my Q to my bluetooth phone system in my vehicle, But whe I try to find my laptop from my Q or to find my Q from my laptop, Neither one locates each other, Help !!!
Is it possible you have your phone set to be hidden by other devices? I believe this is a default setting so if you haven't changed it, then it will be set as hidden. The reason you could hook up to your car is because your phone can still seek connection. Although, if it can seek BT connection/devices you would think it could seek your lappy. It sounds like it's a setting to me. Play around with your BT settings both on your Q and on your lappy and I bet you'll get it working.
