Electronic Arts, arguably the most powerful game publisher on the planet, hasn’t quite got on board all the Windows Phone 7 game love, yet. Mobile Entertainment asked the megacorp about their absence, and were met with a decidedly non-committal response. EA Mobile had this to say on the matter:
“We are constantly evaluating new platforms and opportunities, but have nothing to announce right now.”
I’m honestly kind of surprised about that. More than any other smartphone platform on the market, Microsoft has an incredible link to gamers and gaming, and the XBox Live integration is bound to be a major selling point. I’ll bet it won’t be long before EA come on board, and you’ll be able to play every repetitive annual iteration of a sports game that you please.
