I think the really cool thing here is that the update system will work for all phones, models and carrier simultaneously. That means no matter which handset you have, you’ll get the update as soon as everyone else, fixing a major problem with Android right now, where a large number of people are waiting for their carriers to push through model specific Froyo updates that may never arrive.
