Connective Tools has announced the release of CT Birthday 1.0, a utility that allows you to organize your personal list of birthdays, anniversaries and other important dates.
It tracks events and reminds you of forthcoming birthday or anniversary before they occur.
Features:
- Perfect and convenient user interface. The program is easy to understand and easy to use. You can manage your list of birthdays, anniversaries and other dates fast and easily. Status icons, sorting, filtering and other options significantly simplify your work with the program.
- Rich set of view parameters. Powerful view settings allow displaying birthdays and anniversaries with maximum flexibility. You can select required fields and layout for displaying dates, set items format and more.
- Scanning Contacts database. It allows you to gather existing birthdays and anniversaries from the system database.
- Reminder configuration allows defining the desired notification day and time.You can set different melodies and other sound parameters for reminders. Any of the system-recognized file types, including MP3, WAV, MID, may be used.
- Early Dismiss feature. This convenient feature allows dismissing the forthcoming alarm in advance. It is very convenient if you want to avoid the next reminder arising without date deletion or deactivation.
- Celebrity birthdays. CT Birthday has a small internal database of celebrity birthdays. You always can see the celebrity birthdays that close to your friends’ birthdays.

The developer is working on features for an upcoming release that include Individual sound and reminder settings, icon selection, home screen plug-in and SMS reminders. CT Birthday retails for $7.25 and is available as a free trial.
