If you’re like me, you’re plotting your place of purchase of your new Windows Phone 7 device on Monday. According to my local Best Buy (your mileage might vary), they won’t have stock of the Samsung Focus on Monday. They are taking pre-orders for the HTC Surround, also an AT&T phone. If you visit Best Buy’s website, you’ll see the HTC Surround listed, but the Samsung Focus is no where to be found. According to our poll, 47% are planning purchase the Samsung Focus vs 5% for the HTC Surround, so why is Best Buy not stocking arguably the hottest Windows Phone. Also missing from their online store is the HTC HD7. Maybe there is more to the stories of shortages. If you’re looking to pick up the Samsung Focus, we’d advise you hit up your local AT&T store on Monday. Those of you planning on the HTC HD7, your local T-Mobile retailer is the way to go.
