We knew the Motorola Q11 was going to be released in Brazil, but now comes word it will come as soon as tomorrow. ZumoBlog is reporting that the Motorola Q11 will release tomorrow in Brazil on Vivo and Claro. Outside of the lack of 3G (big miss), the specficiations are impressive (WiFi and GPS). Impressive enough to jump from 9 to 11, we're not so sure. The unlocked price is a whopping $899 US. No word yet if this will make it's way to the US.

  • GSM/EDGE
  • 3 megapixel camera
  • 1 GB microSD included (expandable to 32MB)
  • 3.5mm plug for headphones
  • Windows Mobile 6.1

It is $899 dollars unlocked in "Brazilian Reais" not US dollars, that's about $450 US dollars, also taxes are much much higher in Brazil, it's about $299 US dollars.

I'd go for the Q9c over this. When this hits the market the Unlocked version of the Q9c should drop I would hope. We will see what happens, I don't see much difference with the Q9c aside from the 3.5mm headphones and 3MP camera. If this was running on a 300-400mhz processor and say 512mb-1GB system memory that would turn heads!
